Pro:
The ProBook was delivered promptly, and looked good-as-new to my eye.
Performance is adequate for the purposes for which I bought it, i.e., to be able to stream videos, shop at Amazon.com, and keep up with current events and my emails from my hospital bed.
Built-in Wi-Fi functionality made it very easy to latch onto the hospital’s Guest Wi-Fi Network.
Hard Disk capacity (500 GB) is generous.RAM (4GB) appears to be more than adequate, and is easily expandable should the need arise.
Overall, I am very pleased with the value of this purchase for the price I paid ($220).
Con:
Setting up took most of a day, as Windows 7 needed to install well over a hundred updates. Curiously, Microsoft Security Essentials, the free Anti-Virus program, marks its definition updates as Optional, so one must be careful to select them when they are offered.
The screen has rather a narrow viewing angle, but I could usually swivel it to a sweet spot that presented adequate visibility.
I strongly dislike the touchpad as a mouse simulacrum, so I added a Kensington trackball to my rig via one of the four USB ports. That was the only hardware upgrade I felt to be necessary.

Excellent small and business HP Laptop. Keyboard is excellent, cooling is excellent, the fan noise is barely audible. The only cons is the screen which is a classic TN LED Panel with 1366x768 pixels but in favour it is very bright, but.. it could be at least 1080p.

This machine is perfect for every kind of work, from programming like me to use only with emails and office, it gets the job nicely done. It is very lightweight and the battery last for 5 hours in normal use. It is very easy to travel with it, you can pick it up with one hand without any problem.

This HP probook is very well built and the keyboard has not any flex at all. Touchpad is very good and very comfortable. I installed Linux mint 17.2 and runs like a pro! I also add 8gb more and an 250 Samsung SSD and now works even better and is very easy to upgrade.
